This morning, we gathered for a very special assembly to honor our latest Core Value Award winners! These students were nominated by their teachers for consistently demonstrating Community—one of the five pillars that make IVS such a wonderful place to grow.

Whether it’s lending a helping hand, including a new friend, or looking out for one another, these leaders remind us that we are always better together.

Big congratulations to our community award recipients!

What an incredible turnout for our STEAM Night and Scholastic Book Fair yesterday! It was wonderful to see so many families come together to explore, create, and celebrate a love for learning.

Between the delicious spaghetti dinner and yummy cookies, our STEAM stations were buzzing with excitement. We also had an extra busy Scholastic Book Fair, and it was fantastic to see so many students eager to find their next favorite book!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success!

Our students had a blast diving into the world of 3.14 last week. We all enjoyed a kid-friendly video to learn all about what Pi actually is and why we celebrate with its delicious namesake.

The highlight of the afternoon was definitely our pie-tasting! After some very serious taste-testing and voting, the results are in: Chocolate is the official crowd favorite!

A massive thank you to our incredible families and staff who donated the pies for this event. We are so lucky to have such a supportive community—we couldn't have done it without you!

Each week, our IVS classes rotate to share performances that highlight our Core Values: Community, Learning, Passion, Safety, and Kindness. It is such a wonderful way to come together and celebrate our students' hard work.

This Friday morning, Ms. Doucet’s third graders took the stage to share their incredible writing pieces! We learned so many fascinating animal facts, and we were so impressed by everyone's great reading. High fives all around for a job well done!

We’re still smiling looking back at these photos from our annual Winter Carnival! It was a day packed with laughs, school spirit, and just the right amount of chaos.

Our students stayed busy all day with:

A messy (and hilarious!) "pie" eating contest

Getting creative with arts and crafts

Being brave while exploring adventurous foods

High-energy rounds of dodgeball

and
Beautifully bright face painting

Thank you to everyone who made this day so special. And a huge thank you to Bob from Bob's Quick Stop for once again supporting us and coming to cook us all a delicious lunch!!
