The Impossible Shot has arrived in PE at Irasburg Village School! 🏆
Mr. Varin, our new PE teacher, is bringing a new challenge to PE this year called The Impossible Shot.
Students who show great effort, positive behavior, sportsmanship, and follow expectations can earn a chance to take the shot at the end of class.
We already had our first two students make it! Each student who makes the Impossible Shot receives a certificate to recognize their accomplishment.
It should be a fun challenge to keep going throughout the school year. We can't wait to see who makes it next!
Who will be next?

Congratulations to your children on completing their first two days of school! Everything has been going wonderfully, and we are so happy to have their smiling faces, energy, and excitement back in the building. It has been a fantastic start to what we know will be a year filled with learning, growth, and fun.
We would also like to recognize our incredible custodial and kitchen staff. Their hard work behind the scenes helped ensure that our building was welcoming, our students were well cared for, and our first day ran smoothly. We are incredibly grateful for everything they do for our school community.
On the first day, students were introduced to SPARK, the core values that guide how we learn, work, and care for one another at Irasburg Village School:
Safety
Passion
Achievement
Respect
Kindness
SPARK helps students understand what it means to be a successful member of our school community. We encourage you to ask your child what they learned about SPARK and how they plan to show these values at school.
Thank you for sharing your children with us. We feel incredibly fortunate to have the privilege of educating so many special young citizens. We cannot wait to see what this school year brings—because at IVS, Learning Is Required!
Warmly,
April Brown

Our Kindergarteners and 4th graders had the absolute best time visiting Laggis Farm last week! Students got to visit their special class cows and learn all about life on the farm.
They wrapped up their big adventure by fueling up with some lunch and treating ourselves to some well-deserved ice cream nearby. ☀️🍦
A huge thank you to Laggis Farm for hosting us and making today so memorable for our students and to our classroom teachers for organizing the trip!

Federal funding is based on participation, so every meal served helps strengthen and sustain the program for the families who count on it most. The more kids and families who participate, the more welcoming and “normal” the program becomes, helping remove the stigma that can sometimes keep people away. Summer meals are for everyone 18 and under, and every person in line helps make that message louder and clearer. Please help spread the word and help us build a stronger, more connected community this summer!
